Questions

What people ask before they call

Do you really answer the phone at night?

Yes. The emergency line is answered by a person, 24 hours a day, every day. It rings at the shop, and the dispatcher can switch to Spanish.

Do nights and weekends cost more?

Yes. After 5 p.m. on weekdays, and all weekend and holiday hours, an after-hours rate applies. The dispatcher tells you what it is before a van leaves.

Will I get a price before you start?

Yes. The tech writes the price down and texts it to you. Work starts only after you say yes.

Where is my main shutoff?

Often on the front wall near the hose bib, or in the box at the street meter. The emergency page has a short guide, and the dispatcher can walk you to it on the phone.

What does a visit cost?

A visit fee covers the trip and the diagnosis. If you approve the work that day, it is credited to the job. How pricing works has the details.

Can I text you a photo?

Yes. Text it to (623) 555-0100, or use the Text us a photo link on the contact page. A photo helps the tech bring the right part.

Does anyone speak Spanish?

Yes, but not everyone. Marta Vazquez in dispatch and Orlando Quiroz on the crew do. Tell the dispatcher and they will say who is coming.

Do you pull permits?

When the city requires one, as it can for a water heater or a repipe, we pull it and say so in the written price.

Should I repair or replace my water heater?

We tell you what we see: its age, where it leaks, and what a repair would cost against a new one. A leaking tank usually means replacing it.

How do I check that you're licensed?

Our license is in the footer of every page, with a link to the state's lookup. You can ask any plumber for their number before they start.

Still have a question?

A dispatcher will answer it.
