Before anyone drives
How pricing works
What decides the price
Plumbing prices move on a few things. The tech tells you which ones apply to your job.
What is leaking, and where
Whether a wall, tile or the slab has to be opened
Pipe age and material
Parts on the van, or parts we have to order
The hour of the call
What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't
The written price lists labor, parts, and a permit when the city requires one. We clean up after our own work.
Not included: repairing drywall, tile, stucco or paint after we open a wall
Not included: fixtures you haven't picked yet
What happens at the visit
A tech finds the cause and explains your options. A visit fee covers the trip and the diagnosis. If you approve the work that day, it is credited to the job.
After hours
Yes, nights cost more. Calls after 5 p.m. on weekdays, and all weekend and holiday hours, are billed at an after-hours rate. The dispatcher gives it to you on the phone before a van leaves, and you can say no.
When you get the number
Before any work starts, in writing, on the tech's tablet and by text. Most repairs get one flat price; bigger jobs get an estimate with a range. Nothing starts without your yes.
